中評社香港9月9日電／陳水扁六日透過視訊與華府智庫“美國企業研究院”對話，開場白的結語引述了音樂劇《夢幻騎士》中的名曲“不可能的夢”。陳水扁並且朗讀了歌詞全文。在場人士發現，陳水扁的中文譯文，絕大部分符合原意，只有兩個字例外，卻是原句中最悲淒的兩個字：“地獄”與“死亡”。
中國時報報道，勇闖地獄（march into Hell），陳水扁美化為“奮不顧身”；撒手人寰（When I’m laid to my rest），陳水扁美化為“躺下之時”。
