Session 3. The Role of the Military within the Governance of theNational Cyber Security
Nowadays,cyber space is exposed to the threats of cyber terrorism,as well as many types of computer crimes such as hacking and computer viruses.Recently, non-selective cyber-attacks on the private&government sector have taken place.Such cyber threats are directly connected to the national security,but the roles of the private-government-military have yet to be clearly defined.
In this session,the following issues regarding cyber security will be discussed:
-Sharing the cases of each country's private-government-military cooperation in strengthening cyber security.
-Reviewing the role of the military based on its uniqueness, and the object & scope of cyber defense and offense operations during peace time.
-Discussing to find the ways for the proper private-government-military cooperation based on the appropriate role of military within the governance of the national cyber security under the threat of cyber security in the 21st century. |
